Knapp Library

The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

Results

A limited number of scholarships are available for private assigned and managed assigned counsel. These scholarships are intended to help those attorneys who would otherwise have difficulty affording the Misdemeanor Defender Training.

To apply, please submit answers to the questions below. Scholarships will be awarded no later than two weeks after application submission. If you are interested, please apply as soon as possible. All scholarship applicants will be contacted by email about the status of their application and next steps for registration.

If you receive a scholarship, the registration fee of $575 is waived; however, recipients remain responsible for travel, food, and lodging expenses.

The scholarship application deadline is 5:00 pm on Friday, October 24.
