One-Day Civil Law Seminar for Magistrates

This program focuses on civil law and procedure issues pertinent to magistrates. This course includes sessions on substantive civil law topics, including summary ejectment and involuntary commitment, and topics necessary for magistrates to perform their duties. Each session will include ample time for questions and class discussion. The course will provide 6.0 hours of continuing education.

This course is appropriate for magistrates who currently hold or anticipate holding small claims court and those interested in civil law topics.

Training sessions may be repeated from the recent fall magistrates’ conference.
