One-Day Civil Law Seminar for Magistrates
This program is designed for magistrates holding small claims court or who anticipate holding small claims court and those interested in civil law topics. Sessions likely will include a case law and legislative update, and sessions on small claims procedure and summary ejectment from public and subsidized housing. Each session will include ample time for questions and class discussion. The course will provide 6.0 hours of continuing education.
This course is appropriate for magistrates who currently hold or anticipate holding small claims court and those interested in civil law topics.
Training sessions may be repeated from the recent fall magistrates’ conference.
This course will be held online via Zoom. If you would like to also register for the One-Day Criminal Law Seminar for Magistrates, please do so here.
