The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. The next offering will be held on September 9-11, 2024.

This workshop focuses on law and practice governing the general reappraisal of real property in North Carolina. It is designed to help assessors and the appraisal staff use statistical measures to better ensure accuracy and uniformity of property tax assessments, learn the basics of general reappraisal, and how to objectively plan for the next reappraisal. This course will be held at the School of Government.

This course is approved with the NC Department of Revenue for 23 credit hours for Appraisers and Assessors.
