Guardianship Proceedings for Appointed Counsel

This conference addresses the central features of guardianship proceedings under Chapter 35A of the General Statutes. This year’s conference is focused on elder abuse and the intersection of Adult Protective Services (APS) and guardianship proceedings. Topics include identifying and investigating elder abuse, UAGPPJA, an overview of APS cases, power of attorney documents and interim guardianships.  The conference includes an ethics hour.
