In the Matter of J.J.D.L., 189 N.C. App. 777 (2008)

Held:
Affirmed

In a first degree sex offense case, the court held the juvenile had not preserved for appeal his argument that the trial court erred by proceeding to disposition without a sex offender specific evaluation, because he had made no objection at the trial level. The court said, in addition, that the juvenile had failed to show how the absence of such an evaluation affected the court’s ability to enter a disposition.
