Knapp Library

The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

Permanent Instructional, Research, Executive (EHRA NF) Employment Opportunities

This page provides descriptions of the School of Government’s current openings for professional staff (categorized as EHRA Non-Faculty). All EHRA positions are exempt from both the State Human Resources Act of North Carolina and the overtime provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. EHRA Non-Faculty positions are typically at-will appointments. There are three major types of EHRA Non-Faculty Positions: Instructional, Research, and Executive.
