Aaron Sparks completed his PhD in political science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research examines how people think about the environment and how that shapes their behavior and has been published in some of the leading journals in the field, including Nature Sustainability, Environmental Politics, and the Journal of Environmental Psychology. Sparks recently transitioned out of academia, working for a North Carolina-based nonprofit (and some local government) consulting firm where he applies his expertise in social science research methods to help mission-driven organizations make better decisions with data.
