Allison Wise joined the School of Government in 2026. She is responsible for legal research, analysis, and writing to support the research needs of School of Government faculty in a wide variety of fields, such as local government law, employment law, criminal law, civil procedure, and judicial administration. Prior to joining the School of Government, Wise was in private practice in Washington, DC, where she represented whistleblowers in qui tam litigation and financial fraud investigations. She earned a B.A. from Haverford College and a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. Wise is a member of the District of Columbia and North Carolina bars.
