Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.
- Covid-19 Response

As assistant dean for programs, Alycia Inserra oversees the programs division and supports the associate dean for finance and operations in leading the strategic direction of the division.

She rejoined the School of Government in 2018 as director of programming serving clients in law and finance before being named to her assistant deanship. She previously worked at the School as a program manager. Prior to joining the School, Inserra Alycia worked in corporate retail sales for Judith Leiber, LLC, in private events, and as an editor for Conde Nast Publications.

Inserra earned a bachelor's degree from Fordham University in New York City.
