
Diane Juffras is an expert on public employment law, covering Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act as well as the intersection of the First, Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment with the public workplace.
Juffras joined the School of Government in 2001. Previously, she was an attorney in private practice in Connecticut, where she specialized in the areas of employment, health care, and business law and litigation. Additionally, she taught in the classics departments at Princeton University, University of Virginia, and Ohio State University.
She earned a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College, MA and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and a law degree from New York University.
