Kahn is a 4th-year PhD student at NC State. Her research focuses on public human resources management, specifically on employee outcomes including job satisfaction, person-organization fit, and emotional labor. Prior to starting the PhD program, Kahn worked at various nonprofits in Florida and Boston, including organizations serving vulnerable populations and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. After moving to North Carolina, she worked at the UNC School of Government for five years, managing programs serving local government professionals and elected officials across the state.
