Maggie Bailey

Project Manager, Criminal Justice Innovation Lab

Maggie joined the Criminal Justice Innovation Lab as a graduate research assistant in 2020 before transitioning into her role as project manager in the summer of 2021. Prior to working at the School of Government, Maggie worked in public health and health policy, focusing on strategies to influence the social, environmental, and economic drivers of health at the community and state levels. As a project manager, Maggie supports the Lab’s engaged research projects to promote a more fair and effective criminal justice system and manages internal organizational infrastructure projects. Maggie is a graduate of Elon University and holds master’s degrees in public administration and city and regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
