As the director of donor strategy and engagement, Sarah Dickson conducts research to identify new prospects and conducts visits to qualify their interest and capacity to support the School of Government. She also oversees work that strengthens the stewardship of current donors.Â
She joined the School in 2020. Previously, Dickson served as alumni relations program coordinator at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, where she oversaw alumni events and volunteer engagement and built relationships with alumni in order to promote giving. Sarah’s other prior roles include serving as marketing and events coordinator for Wing Haven Foundation (Charlotte, NC); research assistant for the Public School Forum of North Carolina (Raleigh, NC); and as a graduate assistant in the advancement office here at the School.
Dickson earned a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and an MPA from UNC-Chapel Hill.
