Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.
- Covid-19 Response

The School of Government will host the annual Fall Open House for its top-ranked Master of Public Administration program on Friday, October 9 from 6-8pm. This is an opportunity for interested individuals to gain first-hand information from our staff, current students, faculty, and alum about the program.

Attendees will learn about the School's on-campus and online formats, our curriculum and concentrations, the career outcomes and competencies of our graduates, and our application and financial aid process. This event is open to everyone, and any relevant networks, groups, or individuals interested in public affairs are encouraged to attend. The event is free, but registration is required. Please fill out the form to attend.

The MPA program is ranked 21st nationally among public affairs schools, and is ranked 2nd in the specialty area of local government management by US News & World Report.
