Knapp Library

The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

We’re pleased to announce that the 2019 Cumulative Supplement to North Carolina Crimes: A Guidebook on the Elements of Crime is now available for purchase. The book includes cases and legislation through December 31, 2019.

Purchase of the supplement includes free and unlimited access to the online version of Crimes from the time of purchase through May 1, 2021. (With so many people working remotely, we made the site available for free to everyone until June 1, 2020.)

NC Judicial Branch employees may procure copies through the AOC’s online store or contact the Purchasing Services Division (purchasing@nccourts.org) with questions. Please note that the AOC requests prior approval from division managers before ordering through its online store.
