You are invited to join us as School of Government faculty members Meredith Smith and Kristi Nickodem host a one-hour, free webinar on September 4, 2025 that will examine Session Law 2025-23 concerning the establishment of local adult protection multidisciplinary teams (MDT).  Participants in this webinar will learn more about the purpose of this new law, the types of MDTs, the procedure under the new Article 6B of G.S. Chapter 108A to establish a case review adult protection MDT, who can be a member of the MDT, and the authority of team members to share information for the purpose of conducting review of specific cases involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation of a disabled or older adult.
