Description

This session examines what happens in a case after a decision is made in the Court of Appeals. Topics covered include the duties of appellate counsel after a favorable decision and after an unfavorable decision, including seeking and opposing additional review by the North Carolina Supreme Court. The session also covers temporary stays, motions for en banc review, motions to withdraw or amend the decision, and seeking review at the U.S. Supreme Court.
