This session addresses strategic and legal considerations that arise when working with defense experts and challenging the state’s expert in child sexual assault cases. The presenter offers examples from his experience conducting direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses. He also demonstrates how and when to object to an expert’s testimony through a group exercise.
