Post-TPR Responsibilities
Your client’s rights have been terminated. Now what? In this session, parent defenders will learn what their responsibilities are and what tools they have to help their client following a TPR. Topics include post-trial motions, including for stays, visits, and additional proceedings before the trial court, post-TPR review hearings, a client’s right to appeal and the role of the trial attorney in it, and the possibility for reinstatement of parental rights.
