In the Matter of T.H., 218 N.C. App. 123 (2012)

Held:
Affirmed

There was sufficient evidence of common law robbery and simple assault under the principle of “acting in concert” where State’s evidence showed the victim was robbed of his iPod by a group of boys after school, the victim twice identified the juvenile in a photo lineup as one of the assaulters and testified that the juvenile had patted him down, a co-defendant testified that the juvenile walked behind the victim during the incident, and the victim’s statement vividly described how he was “beat up” by a group of boys, which included the juvenile.
