Trauma Informed TPR Practices
In this session, parent defenders will learn the significance of and strategies for trauma-informed lawyering in termination of parental rights proceedings. A lawyer’s ethical duties and professional responsibilities ground this discussion on trauma, wellbeing, ideas for improving the quality of representation in and outside of court, and the C.A.R.E. approach to client representation.
