Errata—North Carolina Crimes: A Guidebook on the Elements of Crime, Eighth Edition, 2025

Below is an abbreviated list of formatting errors discovered after the first printing of this publication. The downloadable and printable PDF below contains a full description for each correction. These corrections apply to any book with an impression line, found at the bottom of the copyright page, that reads:

Chapter 10, page 279, “Solicitation of a Child by a Computer or Other Electronic Device to Commit an Unlawful Sex Act,” Element (3), a level-two letter preceding a subsection was omitted.
Chapter 10, page 295, “Being Present at a Location Used by Minors,” Element (3)(b), text was omitted.
Chapter 15, page 433, “Felony Breaking or Entering of a Building,” Element (5), level-one numerals before level-two text were added.
Chapter 16, page 448, “Worthless Checks—Making or Uttering,” Element (4), an unnecessary level-one numeral was added.
Chapter 16, page 450, “Worthless Check on a Nonexistent Account,” Element (1), a duplicate entry for (a) was added, causing the entries for (b) through (d) to be mislettered.
