Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.
- Covid-19 Response

The Appraiser of the Year Award is designed to recognize one outstanding appraiser annually. It is presented in recognition of outstanding achievement in tax assessment and public service. General requirements of the award include: Must be a North Carolina Association of Assessing Officers member in good standing; Must have five (5) years of continuous appraisal service as a Certified County Appraiser; and Must have demonstrated an exceptional performance record over the past two (2) years in his or her local community.
