Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library is located in the Knapp-Sanders Building on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill. The Knapp Library is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The library is closed on state holidays. Contact the library staff at 919.962.2760.

Services

The library's information services and collections support the School of Government's instructional and research programs. Traditional library services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional services are available to all state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.
