NC Association of County Attorneys Winter Conference and County Attorneys Fundamentals Workshop
The County Attorneys 2020 Winter Conference will be held virtually this year. Join us from the “comfort” of your home or office! The conference timing will be a little different than usual. We will hold sessions on Thursday and Friday mornings. (Thursday, February 4: 8:30am-12:30pm & Friday, February 5: 8:30am-1:15pm). Most sessions will be short (20-30 minutes), which will allow us to cover a variety of topics and combat Zoom fatigue. Session topics include: EMS Risk & Liability, Animal Services & Seizures, Condemnation of Unsafe Structures, Common Bankruptcy Issues, Local Redistricting, and Abatement of Public Health Nuisances. We will also provide our usual Ethics and Technology CLE credit sessions, as well as case law and legislative updates. Finally, we will facilitate special networking/consult your peers sessions around topics of general interest. (Note that there will be no fundamentals session this year.)
Once you register, you will receive detailed instructions to download the latest Zoom version (for free) and test it before the conference.
