The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Special Topic for Prosecutors will be held April 22-23, 2025, at the School of Government in Chapel Hill, sponsored by the North Carolina Judicial College. On the first day of this course, participants will attend lectures on evidence issues relevant to prosecutors: capacity to proceed, digital evidence, and character evidence, among others. On the second day of this course, participants will choose between two tracks with specialized lectures pertaining to: (1) Sentencing or (2) Motions for Appropriate Relief (MARs).
