Special Topic for Prosecutors

The Special Topic for Prosecutors course will be held April 21-22, 2026, at the School of Government in Chapel Hill, sponsored by the North Carolina Judicial College. On the first day of this course, participants will attend lectures on evidence issues relevant to prosecutors: confrontation, the good faith exception, and the interaction with artificial intelligence, among others. On the second day of this course, participants will choose between two tracks with specialized lectures pertaining to: (1) Sentencing or (2) Motions for Appropriate Relief (MARs).

CANCELLATION POLICY

Course participants who cancel their registration more than 7 calendar days before the course start date will receive a full refund. Otherwise, participants will receive a transferrable credit to be used within 12 months. More information can be found in the full cancellation and refund policy
