North Carolina Pattern Jury Instructions for Civil, Criminal, and Motor Vehicle Negligence Cases, 2025 Edition (eBook)
North Carolina Pattern Jury Instructions are sample jury instructions organized in separate volumes by legal topic (Criminal, Civil, Motor Vehicle). Judges use the instructions when conducting trials and share them with juries to guide them in reaching verdicts. The instructions are created and compiled by the Pattern Jury Instruction Committee, made up of trial judges who are assisted by the School of Government and supported by the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts. Each year, the North Carolina Conference of Superior Court Judges Committee on Pattern Jury Instructions publishes new and revised instructions for criminal, civil, and motor vehicle negligence cases.
All current, new, and updated instructions are contained in comprehensive, searchable, and printable PDFs: one for Criminal, one for Civil, and one for Motor Vehicle instructions. In this 2025 Edition, there are fifty-four Criminal, fourteen Civil, and two Motor Vehicle new or revised instructions. Each PDF contains a list of new or updated instructions, making it easy to update your printed editions. The result is a manageable file for each volume at a reduced cost.
