School Attorneys' Conference

This one-day conference offers school board attorneys the opportunity to learn about and discuss current issues related to public education law. Superintendents are also invited to attend.

Sessions will be led by School of Government faculty members and leading practitioners in the field.

  • The Law of Mask Mandates
  • Dealing with Board Disruptions
  • The View from the State Board of Education
  • The Law of Vaccination Mandates
  • Professional Responsibility for School Board Attorneys (meets CLE ethics requirement)
  • The Leandro Litigation at Age 28

This program is designed for school attorneys. School superintendents are also welcome to attend.

We will be seeking pre-approval from the NC Bar for CLE credit.
