Train the Trainers for Defenders

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Office of Indigent Defense Services.

Through this workshop, attendees will learn principles of adult learning, how to create learning objectives, how to use principles of adult learning and learning objectives to design effective training sessions, and principles and techniques for effective facilitation of small groups. Participants will also have the opportunity to work in small groups on either designing a training session on a topic of their choice or facilitating small group work.

This workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 22 through Thursday, October 23.

FEE: The registration fee for non-IDS employees is $375. There is no fee for IDS state employees.

CLE CREDIT: Per the State Bar, this course is not eligible for CLE credit.
