Knapp Library

The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

Annual Leadership Training and Reunion for ALC Alumni

September 11-12, 2025

Our program will focus on values-based communications and best practices for strategizing, creating, and delivering your message to constituents and other audiences. Our instructor is Chris Lundberg, UNC Associate Professor and Vice Provost for Communications; he is also the founder of Vocable Communications, and he has provided extensive political communications consultation for many US Senate and gubernatorial campaigns.

Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 1PM-4:30PM at the North Carolina Botanical Garden, reception from 6PM-8PM

Friday, September 12, 2025 from 9AM-1:30PM at the School of Government
