This program is designed for magistrates holding small claims court or who anticipate holding small claims court and those interested in civil law topics. Sessions likely will include a case law and legislative update and sessions on involuntary commitment, substantive civil law topics, including summary ejectment. Each session will include ample time for questions and class discussion. The course will provide 6.0 hours of education.

This course is appropriate for magistrates who currently hold or anticipate holding small claims court and those interested in civil law topics.

Training sessions may be repeated from the recent fall magistrates’ conference.
