What is program evaluation?

The systematic assessment of the design, implementation, and/or outcomes of a program with the intent of sustaining or improving its performance.

How can the School of Government help government officials with program evaluation?

The School offers courses, disseminates information, and provides technical assistance for state and local government officials who are interested in program evaluation. The School is available to either work side-by-side with officials in developing an evaluation or conduct an independent evaluation.
