The North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) provides statewide support services for all Judicial Department personnel, including public defenders. These support services cover the following areas: general information, technology, personnel, finance, legal, research, and purchasing. The NCAOC is located at the North Carolina Judicial Center in Raleigh.

Many of the web links below direct you to the NCAOC Human Resources intranet, which is your one-stop shop for information related to your job, benefits, compensation, health and safety, and workplace harassment. This site is only accessible from Judicial Department computers or via the department's virtual private network (VPN). Contact the NCAOC Help Desk at 919.890.2407 with any technical issues; the Help Desk is open 24 hours a day.
