Indigent Defense Education
Online Training - CLEs
The self-paced presentations listed below include recordings of live webinars and training sessions. They may be purchased for CLE credit or viewed at no cost if CLE credit is not required. Although most presentations are for indigent defenders, they may be helpful to others who work in the court system.
Presentations purchased for CLE credit are accessible for 30 days following purchase. If you do not watch the presentation within this time frame, you must notify the Associate Director of Programs and Services at the School of Government (contact information below).
The School will report your credit to the North Carolina State Bar in the month following the purchase and pay the required fees on your behalf. North Carolina attorneys may receive up to six (6) hours of recorded, computer-based credit for the current year toward their CLE requirements. Additionally, up to six (6) hours may roll forward to the next calendar year. The presentations below are not eligible for Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) credit.
For more information, please contact Monica Yelverton, Associate Director of Programs and Services at (919) 966-4227 or myelverton@sog.unc.edu.
